UtilityScan

Quickly and easily locate metallic
and non-metallic utilities and water lines
with UtilityScan

The core of the UtilityScan system is the powerful digital control system from GSSI - the SIR-3000. This innovative product is the result of GSSI's 35 years as the world leader in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) research and development.

This revolutionary control system is the first to incorporate a full-color transflective display screen for clear, easy to read data images, a removable compact flash data memory for easy transfer of data, an internal sealed battery compartment, and a hardened metal casing. These unique qualities make UtilityScan both expandable and durable

UtilityScan is fully self-contained on the included survey cart.

UtilityScan Models

UtilityScan – 400 MHz

This model is ideally suited for medium penetration (down to 4 m). UtilityScan – 400 MHz provides high-resolution data images for locating buried utilities (gas & electric), water (mains, service lines & sewer), and underground storage tanks. UtilityScan easily identifies the depth and location of metallic and non-metallic pipes. This system is also ideal for the detection of voids under manmade surfaces.

UtilityScan – 270 MHz

UtilityScan – 270 MHz is ideally suited for deeper penetration (down to 6 m). This model efficiently locates buried utilities (gas & electric), water (mains, & sewer), and underground storage tanks. UtilityScan easily identifies the depth and location of metallic and non-metallic pipes. This system is also ideal for the detection of voids under manmade surfaces.

Please note that GSSI’s 900 MHz antenna can also be utilized with UtilityScan.
